Jefferson C. Temple
As a partner at THE702FIRM Injury Attorneys, Jefferson C. Temple works behind the scenes to get financial results for clients. Jeff has represented clients in cases involving car wrecks, slip-and-fall accidents, and wrongful death claims. He now serves as the law firm’s chief financial officer, handling disbursements and other financial matters, which he considers another way of assisting clients.
“I enjoy helping people,” he said. “It’s truly amazing how insurance companies treat Joe Public when they’re involved in injury cases.”
A Virginia native, Jeff graduated from Radford University in Radford, Virginia, in 2001 with a criminal justice degree and an eye toward joining the FBI. He even interned at the U.S. Marshals Service, Western District of Virginia.
But by graduation, Jeff decided to attend the University of Miami School of Law, thinking of opening more doors along his career path. While studying abroad for the summer at University College London with law students from around the country, he met his future wife, Marissa, who was enrolled at the Boyd School of Law at the University of Las Vegas.
Upon obtaining his law degree in 2004, Jeff moved to Las Vegas and soon began litigating cases. He owned a firm focused on family law, bankruptcy, and criminal defense before switching his focus to personal injury. He and THE702FIRM founder Michael Kane hit it off at an adult softball team years ago, and Jeff joined the firm in 2014.
“Now, I view this firm as a second family,” he said.
When not in court, Jeff is an avid golfer who enjoys traveling with his wife, son, and daughter.
